You will receive care from a range of experts in surgical oncology, radiation oncology, medical oncology. Your case will be coordinated by specialist melanoma and skin cancer nurses. You have access to a full range of allied health staff, including social workers.Your case will be discussed at a multidisciplinary team meeting, ensuring you receive the best care and treatment plan.The Melanoma and Skin Service runs a variety of research projects and clinical trials. The three main types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
- Non-melanoma skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma)
- Cutaneous lymphoma
- Merkel cell carcinoma
- Skin sarcomas
As patients with skin cancer are our priority, we do not routinely offer skin examinations in otherwise well patients. We are very happy to provide a telephone consultative service about the management of patients with Melanoma or Skin Cancer by the patient’s primary care practitioner.
